My weight swung between 100 and 140 kilograms. For twenty years I tried to lose it — diets, sport, calorie counting. And every time I hit the same wall you know too well: the weight came back.
I lost 50 kilograms three times — the first time back in 2006. Several times I dropped 20–30 kg, and countless times 10 kg. Every attempt felt like the last one. Every time I was wrong.
Until I understood the main thing: the problem isn't the diet or willpower. It's in the head — in eating behavior. I went deep into the subject and completed professional training in eating disorders. I rebuilt my approach completely — and the weight stopped coming back. For two years now I simply haven't thought about it.
